#Currently Watching: Fantasy Kdramas

May nakamuno ka nakon nga ADHD kuno ako sa ralantawon... I will not dispute that. Mahilig gid man ako maglingling ka mga paragwaon dason indi ko pa gani matapos ang sangka episode malumpat duman ako sa lain.

So to keep track of what I'm watching and to give my impressions on the current watch list, I'll be posting #currentlywatching giya sa blog. Basi pa lang mauyunan mo man ang ginalantaw ko. Kag kun pwede ikaw dlang tapos hay basi ma distract duman bala ako kag mag-umpisa ka lain nga ralantawon.

Sell Your Haunted House (2021)

Obviously, mahuyugon gid man takun sa fantasy and the supernatural gani amo dya ang ginalantaw ko tulad. Hungod ko maglantaw kang mga currently airing agudto indi ako masulay nga mag binge kun nanami-an ako sa dalagan ka estorya.

Sell Your Haunted

Exorcist Ji Ah (Jang Nara) is the owner of Daebak Realty, a company that specializes in selling haunted houses. Ji Ah encounters conman In Beom (Jung Yong Hwa) and they team up to exclusively sell houses that are haunted by vengeful spirits and lingering ghosts.

The hook of the drama was simple and effective: an exorcist specializing in real estate, teaming up with a con-man exorcist who discovers an unexpected ability to commune with the dead. Para ka nakon they already got me at haunted house. Waay ko pa gani una nakilala nga si Jang Nara ang main lead. Ang laki nga lead nadumduman ko lang nga sa You're Beautiful tana kauna. Ang second lead who did not get the girl. It's nice to see him again. So far compelling ang narrative gani natunga-tunga ko run dya lantaw. Although hinted nga may "romance" nga ma develop ka nanda sa urihi, waay ginapirit nga isal-ut sa plot, which I like. Pay indi pa gid kita kapalagyo sa "childhood connection" trope kang kdramas.

My Roommate is a Gumiho

Shin Woo Yeo (Jang Ki Yong) is a 999-year-old nine-tailed fox. To become a human, he collects human energy in a bead. By accident, Lee Dam (Lee Hye Ri) unintentionally swallows it. The bead can only exist inside of a human for no more than 1 year before it kills the person. This forces the two to live together until they figure out a solution.

I admit, indi ako familiar sa mga actors but the premise is promising enough. Supernatural eye candy and cohabitation is my hook for this drama. Episode 1 pa lang nalantawan ko and it's interesting enough. Daw ka fluffy kang gumiho but pwede madara sa kumod. Medyo distracted lang ako gamay sa facial expression ni FL but I'm sure she would grow on me.

Doom at Your Service

Tak Dong-kyung (Park Bo-young) is dying from glioblastoma and has only three months to live. She drunkenly wishes for the world to be doomed and her wish is heard by Myul Mang (Seo In-guk), a messenger between gods and humans. Sick of his fate, Myul Mang choses to fulfill Dong-kyung's wish to end the world. They end up signing a hundred-day contract.

I'm watching this for the eye candies and not much of the plot... shallow me. Episode 1 pa man lang nalinglingan ko and so far daw sadya man. I like contract relationships anyway, especially between humans and immortals. Na intriga ako kun paano da i-resolve ang ending. Ma human si Myul Mang, mapatay si Dong-Kyung, ma end of the world gid man (which I highly doubt pilion da nga option) or will cutie pie (non vampiric, this time) Lee Soo Hyuk gets a happy ending for his character? Yes, ang 2nd lead ang akon natutukan.
